TrainND announces its Emergency Medical Responder course offering for open enrollment starting November 8th.
Emergency Medical Responder Course:
Emergency Medical Responders (EMR) provide immediate lifesaving care to critical patients who access the emergency medical services system. EMRs have the knowledge and skills necessary to provide immediate lifesaving interventions while awaiting additional Emergency Medical Service resources to arrive. EMRs also provide assistance to higher-level personnel at the scene of emergencies and during transport as well as perform basic interventions with minimal equipment under medical oversight. Emergency Medical Responders are a vital part of the EMS response team.
This course is for anyone interested in becoming an Emergency Medical Responder including those in the fields of: Law enforcement officers, Correctional officers, Security personnel, Event/Crowd control staff, Lifeguards, Athletic trainers, Outdoor guides, Community Emergency Response Team members, Firefighters, Dispatchers, etc.
Course Dates: November 8, 9, 13, 14, & 15, 2023 (see attached flyer)
