TrainND Northeast, part of the North Dakota Workforce Training System, has offices in Devils Lake and Grand Forks to provide a multitude of training and opportunities for North Dakota's workforce. Distance learning is another alternative for training and TrainND Northeast offers a number of online certificate training programs to choose from. Other forms of training are as follows:

Individuals in North Dakota who do not possess a high school diploma may consider taking the General Educational Development (GED) exam. This four-part test is administered by the state. Passing the GED results in a certificate that is considered the equivalent of a high school diploma. The North Dakota Department of Public Instruction (DPI) oversees the GED program as part of its adult education system. In order to earn a GED credential in North Dakota, individuals must meet the state's eligibility requirements and attain a passing score.
Individuals in North Dakota who want to take the GED exam must not possess a high school diploma or be enrolled in, or be mandated to attend, a secondary school program. Test takers need to be at least 16 years old. Click here to learn more...
Lake Region State College (LRSC) Testing Center offers a variety of examinations to meet the needs of our students and also those from the surrounding community. LRSC provides testing for placement, academic and professional development. LRSC Testing Center is also an authorized Pearson VUE Testing Center able to provide tests for a variety of clients, such as Microsoft, Adobe, Novell, Cisco, and many others.
