Lake Region State College's summer Peace Officer Training academies are going strong this summer.
Academies are taking place in Grand Forks and West Fargo. The West Fargo site is a new expansion site for LRSC.
Director John Maritato said 13 students are enrolled in Grand Forks and another 18 in West Fargo.
"Many students already are being recruited for area agencies," he said.
The academies run through August. Graduation for Grand Forks is August 17th and West Fargo is August 18th.
