September 17 is Constitution Day

Constitution Day is September 17th. Each year, Lake Region State College participates in Constitution Day with an activity for students. Next week, LRSC will have a constitution quiz for students on campus and online. Many prizes will be awarded to students who participate including three grand prizes. Watch for the faculty/staff in blue constitution shirts for assistance with certain questions.

Also, UND is inviting other campuses to join in on a guest lecture via Zoom.

The University of North Dakota will celebrate Constitution Day on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 by hosting a lecture at the UND School of Law in the Baker Courtroom beginning at noon.

Duncan, University of Nebraska College of Law, will present a lecture titled "Electoral Federalism from 1789 to 2020: The Presidency & the Senate.”  The lecture is free and open to the UND campus and general public.  The event is sponsored by the UND School of Law Federalist Society.
The lecture will be live streamed through Zoom. The meeting will be open to log in and connect beginning at 11:30 a.m. with the lecture beginning at noon.
