Lake Region State College is giving the ROYAL TREATMENT to six regional high schools during the basketball season and holding a three-point contest for seniors at halftimes for $250 scholarship to the college.
The college also is giving away other door prizes at these events for game goers of all ages.
Mya Halverson of Cando won the three-point contest and $250 scholarship during the North Star and New Rockford Sheyenne game January 17. She was awarded a $250 scholarship to LRSC for Fall 2019 and now can compete for another $1,000 scholarship during the Royals’ game February 24th.
The college will hold similar events in Langdon, Dakota Prairie, and Carrington.
