Lake Region State College is giving the ROYAL TREATMENT to six regional high schools during the basketball season and holding a three-point contest for seniors at halftimes for $250 scholarship to the college.
The college also is giving away other door prizes at these events for game goers of all ages. The first of these events was held December 10 in New Rockford.
Gretchen Berglund won the three-point contest and $250 scholarship. She will now compete for $1,000 scholarship at the Royals’ game February 24th.
The college will hold similar events in Langdon, Minnewaukan, Cando, Dakota Prairie, and Carrington.
