DECA
DECA is a worldwide organization that helps students become future leaders and entrepreneurs in areas like marketing, finance, hospitality, and management. In North Dakota, DECA programs are available in 24 high schools and nine colleges, playing a vital role in preparing students for successful careers in these fields.
DECA operates in both high schools and colleges, focusing on developing leadership skills, community service involvement, understanding different career paths, and promoting social responsibility among its members. Students who join DECA pay membership fees at the local, state, and national levels in exchange for various benefits. Importantly, DECA provides a hands-on platform for chapter members to participate in career-related competitions, allowing them to demonstrate their knowledge and creativity as they progress through local, state, and national stages. This engaging environment not only helps members improve their skills but also enables them to establish valuable connections, paving the way for future success and recognition in their chosen fields.
