DECA

DECA is a global organization that prepares students to become leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management. In North Dakota, DECA has a strong presence, with programs offered in 24 high schools and nine colleges. These programs play an important role in helping students build the skills and experience needed for meaningful and successful careers.

At both the high school and college levels, DECA focuses on leadership development, community involvement, career exploration, and social responsibility. Students who join DECA pay membership fees at the local, state, and national levels and gain access to valuable opportunities. One key benefit is the opportunity to compete in career-based events. Members apply their knowledge and creativity at local, state, and national competitions. These experiences build confidence, strengthen skills, and create professional connections that support future success.
