Understanding Articulation Agreements
An articulation agreement is a formal partnership between colleges or universities that allows students to transfer credits between institutions. These agreements ensure that coursework in specific programs counts toward a degree at the receiving institution, simplifying transfers. They may also be referred to as transfer agreements, transfer guides, or transfer pathways.
Lake Region State College has established articulation agreements with several colleges and universities across North Dakota. These partnerships help students transfer credits smoothly and continue their education with minimal disruption. They make it easier to pursue a bachelor’s degree.
