Students in Sociology 235: Cultural Diversity recently completed presentations that visited the variety of cultures represented in the United States. Some of the cultures showcased included Hispanic Americans, Japanese Americans, and Native Americans (Cherokee Nation specifically).

Lake Chevrolet Buick GMC in Devils Lake recently donated a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox to the Lake Region State College Automotive Technology program. 
The vehicle will be used for student learning with electrical and other technology.

College closing at 1:00pm November 25

On Wednesday November 25th, at approximately 1 pm, power to the main campus will be turned off so contractors can begin the process to connect the power to the new Hofstad Ag Center.  Sometime shortly before that, IT will take the network offline.
