Early Childhood Associate

The Associate in Applied Science in Early Childhood prepares students for careers in nursery schools, Head Start, or public classrooms. Students complete a specialized early childhood courses and general education courses to build a well-rounded foundation.

The one-year certificate program is a fast-track option. It provides essential skills for entry-level jobs with young children or running a family child care business.

DISCLAIMER: The LRSC Early Childhood Associate program offers a two-year associate degree. This degree qualifies individuals to work in early childhood settings. A bachelor’s degree is required to become a licensed early childhood teacher in North Dakota. Licensing requirements vary by state. Review the licensure requirements if you plan to pursue employment in another state.
