Farm Business Management
The mission of the Farm Business Management program is, “To provide lifelong learning opportunities in economic and financial management for persons involved in the farming and ranching business”. This is accomplished by providing instruction to farmers on topics such as farm and family financial record keeping, crop and livestock enterprise analysis, financial planning, marketing, and tax management to provide them with the opportunity to gather information and develop the skills necessary to understand their farm business and make informed economic decisions for their farm. A farm business analysis that includes detailed financial statements is completed annually to assist students in making sound management decisions.
