LRSC will hold a Practical Nurse pinning ceremony at 1:00 p.m. on July 18 in Robert Fawcett Auditorium. More than 50 students are expected to participate in the pinning ceremony.
The Practical Nurse program at LRSC is an 11-month course that prepares students for a nursing career.
Refreshments will be served in the Bergstrom Technical Center lobby after the pinning. Students can celebrate, give tours, socialize, and take photos with family and friends.
North Dakota requires graduates of state-approved Practical Nurse programs to pass a licensing exam before practicing as Licensed Practical Nurses. Graduates of LRSC's Practical Nurse program are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-PN®). Students meeting continuation criteria may continue in LRSC’s Associate Degree Nurse (ADN) program or transfer credits to other baccalaureate programs.
