ASSOCIATE IN ARTS (AA) DEGREE

The AA degree provides introductory-level courses in arts, humanities, and social sciences. The degree prepares students to transfer to a four-year institution.

CERTIFICATE IN COLLEGE STUDIES

The Certificate in College Studies introduces foundational knowledge and skills in a liberal arts education. It allows students to earn a credential while preparing to transfer to a four-year university. The certificate requires 60 general education credits and a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0. Students must complete at least 12 credits at LRSC. All courses approved under the General Education Requirement Transfer Agreement (GERTA) qualify for the certificate. This certificate is awarded only to degree-seeking students.
