Empowering Students to Shape the Future of LRSC
Student Government serves as the voice of Lake Region State College students and leads the Campus Activities Board (CAB). Made up of elected student senators, the group is open to anyone who wants to get involved in shaping student life and working with college leadership on decisions that impact the campus community.
Together, Student Government and CAB manage how student activity funds are used and help organize events and programs that support learning, culture, social connection, and student well-being. CAB accepts funding requests from clubs, individual students, and faculty for activities that benefit the student body. To receive funding or support, campus clubs and organizations must be officially recognized by Student Government, which sets the guidelines for that recognition.

Engaging in student leadership provides numerous opportunities, including the chance to connect with fellow students and develop leadership skills by presenting ideas for institutional improvements to the college administration. Participants can enhance their resumes while serving on committees, assisting in the planning of campus-wide events, and representing Lake Region State College at North Dakota Student Association events.
