Anthropology Pathway

Anthropology is the study of humanity — how people live, create meaning, build communities, and change across time. If you are curious about cultures, interested in the past, and drawn to the questions that connect us, the Anthropology Pathway at Lake Region State College is built for you.

Start Here. Grow Here. Go Anywhere.

From your first semester through transfer, you’ll work with faculty advisors who help you stay on track, explore your interests, and prepare confidently for what comes next. Explore new perspectives, deepen your understanding, and build a foundation for your future.

Associate of Science with an Anthropology Transfer Pathway

Build a Foundation for What Comes Next

The Anthropology Pathway leads to an Associate of Science degree with a structured 60-credit pathway that develops critical thinking, communication, cultural awareness, and a broad academic foundation while preparing you to transfer into a bachelor’s program.

You’ll complete the broad requirements of the Associate of Science degree while beginning coursework that supports the study of people, cultures, societies, and the past. Depending on your goals and course availability, your pathway may include Anthropology, Sociology, History, Geography, Biology, Psychology, and related humanities and social sciences.
