Dr. Jason Fewell Receives North Dakota FFA Honorary State Degree

Lake Region State College is proud to announce that Dr. Jason Fewell, Associate Professor and Adult Farm Management Instructor, has been awarded the 2026 North Dakota FFA Honorary State Degree.

The North Dakota FFA Honorary State Degree is one of the organization’s highest honors and is presented to individuals who have provided outstanding service and support to agricultural education and FFA programs across the state. The award recognizes leadership, dedication, and a commitment to helping students grow through agricultural education.

Dr. Fewell has dedicated his career to supporting farmers, ranchers, and students through education and agricultural business analysis. In his role at Lake Region State College, he works closely with producers and students to help them evaluate their operations and make informed business decisions. For the past decade, he has also collaborated with fellow Farm Management instructors to develop and write materials for the Farm Business Management Career Development Event (CDE), benefiting agricultural education programs throughout North Dakota.

This recognition reflects Dr. Fewell’s long-standing commitment to agricultural education, student success, and the agricultural industry.
