Lake Region State College has surpassed 1,900 students this fall, a figure it hasn’t seen since before the COVID pandemic.
This fall, 1,916 students are enrolled through Lake Region State College, compared to 1,897 a year ago. Full time enrollments are up by 20 students at 490 compared to 470 last year. Total credit hours are 14,175 compared to 13,589 a year ago.
“This year’s enrollment report shows that the college has finally returned to its pre-pandemic self. The trends show continued growth since enrollment dropped from 2021-2023,” said LRSC President Dr. Carmen Simone.
This year, LRSC added a Surgical Technology certificate that enrolled nine students. Other Allied Health programs are scheduled to be added in the near future.
These new programs in the Allied Health sector give the college opportunity for new growth. LRSC is also working with existing programs for continued growth and/or expansion.
The fall census is a snapshot of students served at Lake Region State College. A full report on LRSC enrollments will be released in July 2026.
