Experience
Experience
I worked as the Director of International Programs and Substance Abuse at UND from 1985-1990. I worked as the Director of Counseling & Student Activities at UND-LR in 1992. Added Director of Housing in 1995. In 2009 I took over as Vice President of Student Affairs. In 2014 I moved to the to the full-time faculty position in Psychology.

I was the Golf Coach for LRSC.
I advised Students Older than Average Club for many years.
Advised the Student Senate for many years.
Work with Phi Theta Kappa as their application monitor and committee chair for choosing the yearly scholarship awards recipients.

Served on the board at Our Savior's Lutheran Church.
Served on the United Way Board.
Active Member, Officer, Secretary, Trustee, State Trustee and District Deputy for the Elks Lodge 1216 in Devils Lake.
Served on the Devils Lake School Board.
Organized the on campus housing during the evacuation of Grand Forks during the flood of 1997.

I grew up on a dairy/grain farm in southwestern Minnesota. I worked construction after graduating from college at Southwest State University and managed the Dairy operation. I moved to Grand Forks for Graduate studies in 1983.
