Edie Armey is Director for TrainND Northeast. Based at Lake Region State College, her mission is to help businesses expand their efficiency and effectiveness by training their employees. In our changing economy, TrainND is here to support business and industry by providing the training they need…when and where they need it. Prior to becoming director, Edie served as the LRSC Program Manager, assisting the Vice President of Academic Affairs in maintaining and coordinating learning programs. "Workforce training goes along with my sincere interest in the people of our region and how we can increase their knowledge to function in today's fast-paced, society.” Ms. Armey holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from North Dakota State University.

Rene LaFrance is a Training Manager in the Northeast Region of North Dakota for Lake Region State College. She has been with the program since August, 2006. Previously, she worked for the South Dakota Department of Tourism for eight years, where she managed information centers, AAA, hospitality, customer service and travel shows.

E-mail: michelle.faine@lrsc.edu Michelle Faine is the Training Coordinator for TrainND Northeast. She has been with the program since January, 2007. Michelle works with the Nurse Assistant program and the in-home care program, as well as helping to coordinate many different training courses.

E-mail: marlo.miller@lrsc.edu Marlo Miller joined TrainND Northeast as a Training Manager in May, 2008. Her focus is on outreach to rural businesses and developing a wind technician training program. Additionally, Marlo handles web page management, document layout and design. Previously, she was the editor of the Cavalier County Republican in Langdon. She has also worked in radio and television.
