Testing services

Academic Skill/Testig Center
The Test Center’s primary mission is to provide placement, academic and professional testing for current and prospective college students, college community, Lake Region residents and beyond.
Test Center service currently delivers tests in paper-and-pencil and computer formats. Some testing programs have made a complete transition from paper-and-pencil to computer-based testing; others are in the process to implement easy and secure computer-based testing.
Some of the tests currently offered by Lake Region State College Test Center include:
- COMPASS (college placement)
- COMPASS practice test (practice questions with detailed answer explanations)
- GED (high school equivalency)
- CLEP (college equivalency testing)
- CAAP (collegiate progress)
- POT (Peace Officer Entrance and Psychological Testing)
- MOS (Microsoft Office Specialist)
- and more
Lake Region State College Test Center is also authorized Pearson VUE Testing Center able to provide tests for variety of clients, such as Microsoft, Adobe, Novell, Cisco and many others.
