Lake Region State College Lake Region State College hosts the largest adult farm management training program in North Dakota and provides college coursework in computer technology and software design and development, pre-engineering, mathematics, the basic sciences, and business administration/entrepreneurial development.
Its campus houses up-to-date classrooms and laboratories; a substantial student and faculty library; and voice-over-video, e-Internet, and full distance learning capacity.
One-third of its students are enrolled on-line; its faculty is highly qualified and credentialed at envious levels; and, because it hosts other centers, it is administratively equipped to support the emerging Dakota Center for Technology-Optimized Agriculture.

Agri ImaGIS Agri ImaGIS is the regional and national leader in deploying remote sensing capability to North American production agriculture. Since 1998, it has been at the forefront in developing computerized systems capable of delivering satellite imagery to American and Canadian clients.
More recently, it has begun development of a software platform (Satshot) which integrates other databases such as yield maps, soil profiles, topography silhouettes, and grower-derived data with imagery information to produce on-the-go capability. Its clients read like a veritable “who’s who” within American and Canadian agriculture. For more information contact Agri ImaGIS Technologies.

Langdon Research Extension Center Established in 1907, this The 750-acre center conducts research designed to maintain and improve production agriculture within the northeastern area of North Dakota.
As a significant entity within North Dakota’s land grant university system, it has focused on cereal and row crop variety development, alternative cropping systems, and hybrid seed production.
Because its service area has some of North Dakota’s highest precipitation rates, richest soils, coolest temperatures, and shortest growing seasons, it has launched research exploring the integration of technology with newly emergent crop varieties, soil and nutrient techniques, and in-time response to emerging/forecasted weather patterns. For more information contact North Dakota Agricultural Experiment Station.
