Steering committee

Members bring a wide range of viewpoints while fostering ability to articulate a vision for the future of technology-optimized agriculture on the northern high plains. The Committee will meet twice per year in order to review progress associated with program development, staffing, outcomes for North Dakota production agriculture, higher-technology job creation, and strategic positioning of the Center for future sustainability and growth.

Bill Patrie Bill Patrie of Mandan, ND is Rural Development Director for North Dakota Association of Rural Electrical Cooperatives. He has been at the forefront of contemporary electric energy development in North Dakota, and has assisted with entrepreneurial development and new company start-ups within public electric cooperative service areas for over three decades. Randy Mehlhoff Randy Mehlhoff, serves as Director of the 750 acre NDSU Langdon Research Extension Center (LREC). The primary focus of the LREC is to assist regional farmers solve production problems associated with the diverse group of crops grown in the region.
