Get active in Delta Epsilon Chi For great learning and life experiences, marketing students are encouraged to join LRSC's Delta Epsilon Chi (DEX) chapter. Delta Epsilon Chi is a college division of the Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA). The club focuses on developing greater understanding and appreciation of marketing and distribution. It is a national organization for college students preparing for careers in marketing, management, and entrepreneurship.
Lake Region State College's active club attends state and international conferences. The college has earned the reputation nationwide as a competition leader, having students advance to final rounds at the Delta Epsilon Chi National Competition.
LRSC faculty advisor Donna Gutschmidt was named Advisor of the Year in 2007 at the ND Delta Epsilon Chi Career Development Conference -- a title she also has received in past years. She always is praised for her ability to consistently bring winning students to competition.
