Tuition and Fees

Tuition and fees are due 12 days after a class begins. Per the State Board of Higher Education policy 830.1, institutions shall assess a late fee on balances more than 30 days past due.

Effective April 1, 2014, students with a past due balance will be charged a late fee of 1.75%.

 

Fall Semester begins August 25, 2014

Prior to Registering for classes students must accept the Financial Obligation Agreement
(see Register For Class Tab)

Student Fees

 

Activity fees at Lake Region State College are used to enhance the student college experience. Activity fees are used for  Student Senate, Campus Activities Board, Intra-murals, and the Games Room.  Clubs, students, faculty and staff can apply to use funds from the Campus Activity Board for activities  that would directly benefit the student body of Lake Region State College.

The following list will give you an idea of the activities funded through student fees.  These areas also employ student workers to assist with management and operations of activities.  Students usually receive discounted or free admission to activities.

Peace Office Training Summer 2014 Program

Total Cost $3185.64**

NOTE: The following class is not included in the $3,000 fee for the POT Summer 2014 Program and must be taken online during the POT Summer 2014 Program unless the class was completed prior to entry into the program.
CJ 201 -- the additional charge for online CJ 201 is $540.00.

** For students sponsored through the Fargo Regional Training Center at the Fargo site and students sponsored through the Grand Forks Police Department at the Grand Forks site, the cost includes all tuition, fees and books.

Book charges for students not sponsored through the Fargo Regional Training Center nor through the Grand Forks Police Department are to be paid by the student.
