Library archive open house

The nearly seventy-year history of Lake Region State College is captured in documents, audio-visual materials, and photographs that have long been hidden away in the back room of the college's Paul Hoghaug Library.
New LRSC librarian and archivist Chris Meissner is establishing a college archive that will preserve this material for future generations and make it accessible to college staff, students, and researchers interested in the college's history.
Come and see what is involved in establishing an archive and what kinds of historical materials the LRSC archive will contain, while learning about the history of Lake Region State College, at a public presentation entitled "Preserving Royal History: Establishing a LRSC Archive," at 4:00 pm on Monday, October 26, in the Chautauqua Gallery at LRSC
