Orientation schedule

The time is now for Lake Region State College students to start thinking about the upcoming school year. 
Orientation dates are set for the 2017-2018 school year and it’s right around the corner. 
On August 19th, students will be welcomed with a grill out and a movie. 
The following day, Sunday, August 20th, Students will continue the orientation process with several team building activities and other various sessions. 
Orientation will conclude on the 21st with multiple sessions that will get the students prepared for their upcoming year.

12:00pm     Residence Halls Open at Leever’s Welcome Center

5:00pm            Welcome Back Grill Out

9:00pm            Movie: Guardians of the Galaxy Volume II

Sunday 20th

1:15pm           Welcome – Director of Student Services 

1:30pm         ODD ROD: Let’s Get Started

2:30pm Royal Success 101

TEAMBUILDING ACTIVITIES TrainND Johnnie Candle, Brigitte, Cat, Erika, Scott, TRIO team, Lisa, Cindy and athletic coaches

Breaking into cohorts of UNIV 101, students will move session to session to enhance this cohort – this will be a competition among each UNIV 101 group, winners get back packs fully stocked.

1:50pm            Registration of New Students – (Room 15)

Students who should attend are those who missed a summer registration, lost or do not have a White Card, or want help with email. New students will then head to TRiO and sign up for resources and meet advisors.

1:50 pm TRiO and Power Skill Program Orientation – Chautauqua Gallery/TRIO  ir International Students – (Room 33- K. Kienast Hernandez) or Find your classes and advisor

3:00pm   Newly registered students meet with TRiO/PS and Brigitte in TRiO area or  POTP Computer Session/Orientation (Room 15)

4:00pm Classes begin

5:00pm         Club Fair/Community Fair/Royal Feast in the Student Union
