The automotive training program at Lake Region State College in Devils Lake has received continued accreditation by National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF).

The NATEF Master certification shows program instruction, facilities, and equipment meet or exceed standards.

Lake Region State College’s automotive program is Master certified in the following eight areas:

  • Engine Repair
  • Automatic Transmissions
  • Manual Drive Train
  • Suspension and Steering
  • Brakes
  • Electrical Systems
  • Heating and A/C
  • Engine Performance

To achieve this coveted recognition, the school’s automotive training program underwent rigorous evaluation by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF).

“The Automotive Technology at Lake Region State College partners and cooperates with industry leaders and employers to enhance student experience and education,” said LRSC President Doug Darling.

LRSC’s Automotive Program has been accredited for more than 30 years.
