Players earn region and conference honors

Hannah Swartz has been named to the 2016-2017 Mon-Dak All-Conference Team. She also was named to the All-Region Team.

Hannah is from Park River, North Dakota, where she graduated in 2015.

Royals' Volleyball Coach Brigitte Greywater said, "Hannah Swartz makes All-Conference and All-Region for her second year in a row as a Royal."

Swartz ended her season with 907 assists on the year, 78 kills, 239 digs, 58 blocks, and 18 aces. She played in every match her freshmen and sophomore year accumulating to 72 total matches played.

Her career total in stats are the following: 1,733 assists, 167 kills, 535 digs, 105 blocks, and 38 service aces. 

She is seeking her Liberal Arts degree from Lake Region and wants to continue her education to become a physical therapy. Hannah is also a Royal Ambassador at Lake Region, as well as a member of the women's basketball team.

Hannah played volleyball, basketball and track & field for Park River/Fordville-Lankin.

Hannah Hextall also makes All-Region as a sophomore for LRSC.

Hextall played all 36 matches as a Royal this season. She had a minor injury that took her out of 4 matches her freshmen season compiling 68 matches in her LRSC career. Her season stats include: 295 kills, 60 service aces, 333 digs, and 26 blocks. Here career total in stats are the following: 490 kills, 71 service aces, 613 digs, and 58 blocks. 

She is from Weyburn, Saskatchewan, Canada where she graduated in 2015. She is seeking her Liberal Arts degree. Hannah is undecided her career plans, but her goal is "to be successful in whatever I decide to choose for a career". She is an active member is LRSC Student Senate and is a member of the women's softball team.
