Paramedic to Nurse program

By   Erin Wood

Come discover what so many students have found at Lake Region State College…We Change Lives!

LRSC has the only Paramedic to Nurse Bridge program in North Dakota. This is an innovative opportunity for those students who aspire to expand their current knowledge from the emergency medical terrain to the field of nursing. The bridge is completed in one semester of nursing requirements and the completion of general education requirements.

Upon successful completion of the Paramedic to Nurse Bridge program, students will obtain a practical nursing certificate with eligibility to test for the Licensed Practical Nurse licensure.

Graduates of this program can also choose to complete another two semesters and graduate from LRSC’s nationally accredited associate degree program and become eligible to test for a Registered Nurse license. AD graduates may then articulate to many universities in ND and the nation for their BSN.

Lake Region State College (LRSC) serves a vital role in the community, region, state and nation for preparing students for success. The nursing program is offered in Devils Lake, Mayville, and Grand Forks locations. Students at LRSC are mentored and educated by expert instructors from across the state through the Dakota Nursing Program consortium.

The NCLEX licensing exam pass rates for PN and RN are consistently above the national average.
We strive to create an environment where students know that they matter. LRSC’s dedicated nursing faculty are prepared to help you reach your goals.
