Training series offered in Pembina and Walsh County

The Job Development Authority for Pembina County and Walsh County have joined to sponsor its spring business training series.

Five sessions on a variety of topics will be offered in April and May. TrainND Northeast, the workforce training arm for northeast North Dakota, will conduct the sessions.

Sessions offered include Productive Work Habits, held from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, April 7th in the Grafton Chase Building; Succession Planning, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, April 19th in the Cavalier-Pembina Museum; Delegating for Growth, 8:00 am to Noon, May 3 in the Grafton Chase Building; Positive Approaches to Resolving Performance and Conduct Problems,  1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, May 3 in the Grafton Chase Building; and Financial Intelligence, 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, May 17 in the Cavalier-Pembina Museum.

TrainND Northeast, part of the North Dakota Workforce Training System, has offices in Devils Lake and Grand Forks to provide a multitude of training and opportunities for North Dakota's workforce. Distance learning is another alternative for training and TrainND Northeast offers a number of online certificate training programs to choose from and other forms of training include customized employee training, health career training, online classes, and community enrichment classes.
