Night Owl program gives students access to technology

Late in the night, when most are at home or in the dorms, nothing can be heard at LRSC but the rhythmic clicking of the studying student – the dedicated night owl. For these people the LRSC “Night Owl” Program was created.

A computer lab is available 24/7 for students that prefer the wee hours of the night to study because of personal preference, or when class or work gets in the way during the day.

As its name implies, the LRSC Night Owl Program allows students access to the New Horizon’s computer Lab near the Paul Hoghaug Library after hours and on weekends. Students will be given a key FOB, which will be used to access the New Horizon computer lab.

Students in participation should take care to keep their key safe, and report it stolen immediately. If a student fails to return the key fob, they will be charged a fine.

Those interested should contact Student Services at 662-1514 or stop by the Admissions office in Student Services to request a key.
