The 48th Annual Feast of Nations Feast of Nations offers a great cultural experience and will be held at the Alerus Center in Grand Forks on Saturday, February 27th, 2010.
Tickets and transportation provided to all interested LRSC students who pre-register by Friday, February 19th. LRSC transportation will leave at 3:00 pm and return around midnight.

Commercial Driver Training Make the right turn. The demand for well-trained and qualified drivers in the commerical trucking industry continues to grow. This course will prepare the student for the written test and pre-trip inspection.

Summer Grand Forks peace officer academy Grand Forks Police Department and LRSC have announced a partnership that will bring LRSC’s Peace Officer Training Program to Grand Forks. The Peace Officer Training Program is a one-semester basic police academy that results in license eligibility for program graduates. Unlike traditional college criminal justice programs, graduates of the 20-semester hour Peace Officer Training Program are immediately hirable by law enforcement agencies as the students have completed all necessary training to obtain a peace officer license in North Dakota. Dakota Center for Technology-Optimized Ag Lake Region State College is building its center of excellence The Dakota Center for Technology-Optimized Agriculture.
Centers of Excellence allow colleges and universities to partner with private sector companies to increase educational opportunities for students and create quality jobs and careers in the community.
The center assists high plains grain growers in adopting technologies that lessen input costs and increase profitability. This center also creates spin-off technologies and additional job opportunities in the region.
